What Is A Home Visiting Podiatry Service?

A home visiting podiatry service means that your podiatrist / chiropodist visits you in your own home. This can be a particularly valuable service for those with reduced mobility who would otherwise struggle to visit a clinic.

The first time a podiatrist visits your home they will need to carry out an initial patient assessment. As part of this we will need to know your full medical history along with your doctors name and address. This means that your first appointment is longer than usual, so please allow at least an hour.

We bring our own sterile instruments with us, and we will also dispose of any used products safely at the end of your treatment.

To reduce the risk of cross contamination during treatment we ask that all pets (except for guide, companion and helper dogs) are restrained. We also ask that you don’t smoke during the treatment.

If more that one person requires treatment during the visit, we are happy to offer a discount to you all.

As well as private homes, we are happy to visit sheltered accommodation, care homes, nursing homes and community groups.

We are based in the Eastbourne area, but we are happy to travel out to surrounding towns and villages. Call 07876 632733 to book an appointment or for more information. We hope to see you soon!
